This course examines how an interviewer can identify the difference between various types of denials from both the innocent and the guilty.  An interviewee may give direct denials, non-verbal denials or reason denials.  The interviewer should understands that all denials must be handled differently and appropriately, depending on the denial type.  Also, this course will explain that there are many reasons as to why a person may deny something.  These causes can be due to the surroundings, distractions, the thoughts of the interviewee, etc.  In-class exercises will help the student practice their denial handling skills, and help them examine the various causations for these denials.
